R.F.S. Part 2

'Whoosh' A warm summer breeze blew past, rustling Misty's muddy brown fur back and forth. Her claws gently dug up the ground beneath her as she watched and waited for something to pass by, for at the moment she was very hungry.
Misty lived in a small cave that no other foxes wanted, she guessed it was too small for their 'satisfaction', but it was just right for her.
She was lonely at this moment, and almost every moment of her life since she moved to The Valley of Foxes. She lived about 10 miles away from all the other fox dens.
Misty was just dozing off when she suddenly hear a loud THUD, causing her to bolt up very quickly forgetting her den roof was way too low for her to stand up all the way.
"Ouch!" Misty exclaimed. Apparently startling the thing outside.
"Hello... hello, is anyone in there? said a voice from outside.
Misty mind was racing, should she fight, or hide in the back of her cave. Not knowing what to do, on instinct she jumped from her den and pounced on the thing.

Hello, it's me... - Kathleen

Hello, I found the intro category. YAY!!! I’M DOING THINGS RIGHT! Ok, I’m Kathleen Pederson. Noelle is the only one that knows me, I met her when she moved here to the lovely Southern Illinois, Land of the Corn and Soybean fields. They’re great. Anyways, I’m 15 years old, I was born on January 17 th , 2001, really late at night. I have lived in Florida (three years), England (three years), and Illinois (9 years.) I play a little soccer, bits of golf, and I love to swim. (Freestyle is my favorite.) I also play the piano. Any obsessions? Candles, Bath and Body Works, Scrapbook Paper, fairy lights, and nail polish. As far as blogging goes, I’m a bit of a newbie. I have done a little before. Noelle - Day 250 (The Post For Writers)

Hi everybody! Can you believe that we've already made it to Day 250??  I mean, that's like almost 100 days left!  (actually it's 114, since I took a day off for Christmas) I understand we have some new readers (because I've been nagging people again *angelic smile*) so allow me to explain.  WAAAY back at the start of this blog, I had the absolutely horrible idea that we should try to do something that I called the 365 Days Challenge.  That is, I wanted to post every single day , for a full year, without missing a single day.  And we just hit day two hundred and fifty.  Be impressed.  :P  {you can read more here , but I think I covered it all} But anyway, enough about that, I promised a post for writers and by golly I'm gonna do it.
