Hey everybody! Amelia here (oh yeah thats my name by the way) with another of those favorites posts. This one's gonna be a bit different though...so hang in there, yeah? Alright, lets do this! 1. My favorite time; Sunset, when everything is in shades of pink and orange and purple, painting the sky in a different sort of beauty every day. The stars are barely visible, and the sun is this great big ball of light thats hard on the eyes but soft on the heart. The moon is orange, like a mandarin, small and shadowy and real enough that i think it could fit in the palm of my hand if i just reached out . But I don't, and that's okay. Greetings from England! Elena here! Today I will be taking about something VERY special. It is called The Race, and it is a HUGE deal here at RAF Mildenhall and Lakenheth. It is not what you probably think it is. This is not a normal race. This is The Race. Not a foot race. Not something to see who is the fastest, or who comes first. This is a competition between four teams made up of the high school  Youth Group, and the middle school Youth Group. Team Green, Team Yellow, Team Blue, and Team Red. All made up of a mix of Highschoolers and Middleschoolers. I'm on the red team. :) They all compete with each other in various games, this is my first year and I'm not exactly sure on what all they do, but it looks very interesting. Last night we did the Race Lottery, which is when you find out what team you're on. We (my brother and I), got there late so there wasn't any seating room for us, so we just stood there. we had to turn in our Race regis...

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been posting but we've been really busy lately. For those who don't know I just moved to England. It's a pretty good place but I'm still missing NJ. We've been here for about two months, and now we live at this one story house (which is rare in England) on the edge of this adorable little countryside village. There are horse farms within walking distance from our house.  The things I miss doing the most are Drama Lamas (my drama group) and Sod Squad (my 4-H club). We are slowly settling in. My Youth Group (Camps Life) has this thing that they do every summer called The Race, though it's not a foot race (more on that in a different post). That's all for now, today was really crazy. We just moved in and my room is filled with boxes. I don't have any pictures of England to show you now, but I will post some later. :D sorry for the really short post. Love ya guys! Stay awesome!!!

Hi Guys So most of you have probably noticed that I haven' posted since early February. There's a lot of reasons for this. One of them was that my grandma just passed away. I never thought that would ever happen but when they visited last, I had a feeling that it was going to be the last time I saw her. It was. The other reason is that because I was gone a lot of January I ended up being very behind on school. I had like 5 papers to write and regular school to get caught up on. I'm getting all A's so I guess I do have a little wiggle room, but I need to get A's. The other, biggest reason is because I have stress attacks. Some of you know about this some of you don't. I guess this is me opening up about something that has been very difficult for me to talk about mainly because I feel like people will just pass it off as me trying to be special or me making a big deal about my life. Helloooooo everybody! I’m going to mix it up and bit and do one of these vloggy bloggy thingies (is that the official name?  Are we really sticking with that?  Okay.  Well then)  Anyway, I went on a trip recently, and it was just so packed with stuff and awesome that I have to tell you guys about it. Okay, so the reason that we went down to Texas in the first place was because my cousin is getting married (she doesn’t read my blog but just in case...hi cousin!) and had her bridal shower, PLUS we’re selling our old house (we have a house in Texas, btw...did you guys know that?) so the Matherne clan migrated south to take care of painting and cleaning and such. Alrighty so, DAY ONE: We didn’t take an airplane flight.  Why?  Because we can travel in the Wanderer of course!  The Wanderer (which is kind of a mouthful out loud...and you just said it didn’t you.) Hey!      Its been a really, really long time since I've posted, and I have alot to update you on. So buckled up and sit tight for this long post.      November 22, 2016 I moved....again. Leaving the place that was my home for a year to move to Maryland. I've lived in Maryland once before so it wasn't a huge shock while moving. When we got to church it was like we never left, it was awesome. The reason we moved is because my dad changed jobs again. He retired from the military in June of 2015, so no more moving becuase of the miliary. He ended up sort of coming back into the military. I have no idea what he does now, a contractor for the government or something. But I was able to come into his work and actually see his office, so those who have a parent in the military knows what I'm talking about. I think I have only ever seen 3 of my dad's work. In my 16 years of life, and all the 13ish different times he changed work spaces...only3. Anyways....we move...

My name is Emma and I am 15 years old (but turning 16 next week!). I've known Noelle for about 6 months now, and finally decided to take part in the craziness that is blogging.
