Anna & Noelle - READER AND WRITER INTERVIEW!!!

Hi guys!! It’s Noelle, your head blogger!  Most of you probably saw the post I wrote two weeks ago with Jay Blank (hi Jay!)  If not, here’s a nice little link for you guys.  Y’all like links, right?  Anyway, today I am doing a post with the lovely Anna Leah!  Wanna say hi, Anna? Hello Interwebbers!!! So ya thought I forgot to post on Thursday did ya?! Well, actually, I did… But this makes up for it, right? Right. So today, we’re going to do a 2-way interview between a reader and and a writer (I suppose I’m the writer?) Anna, how about you start us off and ask me your first question? Okay! So, when I read a book, it doesn’t take much effort for the words to turn into a sort of movie in my mind! How do you make sure you’ve gotten it just right, even though you’re used to the words on the page?

Anna - An Apology

Hey guys! So, my post today is gonna be a little different than my usuals, and more on the serious side. I just wanted to apologize to y'all for not putting much effort into my posts every Thursday. I've been posting late (like today), making them short, and just not really trying to make my posts great. I also wanted to tell you guys why , because it's not like I don't care. I love this blog! But also know, these aren't excuses! See, this is my senior year in high school, which means I am super busy. And soon my homeschool extracurricular stuff is going to start up, which will make me even more busy! I'm also writing up my transcript, applying for college, and searching and applying for scholarships. But mainly, I want to apologize for being lazy. Because while being busy doesn't help, it's not an excuse. I could always write lots of posts ahead of time and schedule them, but I don't. So I just ask that you guys would forgive me for that. I w...

Anna - A Hermit Crab Funeral

Image
Wazzup? So, first order of business, IBF's third birthday was this week ( here's the celebration post !) so, HAPPY BIRTHDAY IBF!!!!! Second order of business, today's post! As none of you know, my little sister, Ella-Grace, recently bought two hermit crabs. Both were girls, named Riley and Gretel. She bought Riley a few weeks before Gretel and, I'm sorry to say, we had her for about, ohhh, two days. Needless to say, she's dead. A moment of silence please .... Anywho, Ella decided that Gretel needed a proper funeral, and hired me (for free) as the photographer. Those are the photos I'm sharing with you today! Let's begin: First, we have Ella grieving for her crustacean friend. Reading the eulogy. See that keyboard in the background? It's playing "Amazing Grace". A bit sacrilegious, yes, but she's eleven, people! Give her a break!!! Riley, grieving for her lost friend. The memorial. Along with the *ahem*...

Anna - The Life of a VBS Volunteer~GIF Style!

Image
Hello peoples! Well, I said that I would make this week's blog post interesting, and by golly, that's what I'm gonna do! So, last week I volunteered at my church's VBS. For those of you who don't know, VBS stands for Vacation Bible School, and it's kinda like a one week bible camp for elementary school kids. Every year the theme is different, and they always need volunteers! So without further ado, VBS in the eyes of a volunteer; in GIF form! *cheers of excitement!* It's Sunday, you're sitting in church, the day goes well. When suddenly, it's time for announcements, and the call goes out:                                    The dread hits you, but you fulfill your duty and volunteer                     Preparation goes well, you have some fun decorating and setting up               ...

Anna Leah - Day 361 (A Lovely Story)

Hallo, world! Remember when I told you guys that I deleted my story and I totally freaked? Well, I rewrote it! YAAAY!!!!! So now, I present to you: my lovely story! ~~~~~~~~ “Lights!” Ariella blinked her light quickly and then dashed to a new hiding spot, giggling breathlessly. ‘Lights’ was one of her favorite games, sort of like ‘Marco Polo’, but with their lights instead. “I see you Ari! I’m gonna get you!” Her friend Ivan was it, and he was starting to get pretty good. Arielle looked all around her for an escape route, but were thick shrubs on either side of her, and she had no choice but to head toward the Hedge. The Hedge was the border between their world, and the world of the giants. They had been forbidden to cross the Hedge, although a few brave souls had ventured out into the unknown lands. But none had come back the same as they were when they had left. Some came back with just stories, others came back with injuries, but many never made it back at all. ...
