Hey y'all! So I recently saw Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. Two and Spiderman Homecoming, and both got me thinking about the future of the MCU and where it's gonna go. So we all know that a lot of actors are either getting stand-alones or are leaving the company due to, y'know, contracts and such. That made me realize something. Since a lot of actors are gonna leave, there's probably a hellavu lot of death in Infinity War. So...that basically means bye-bye Avengers, right? NOPE! There's actually a backup plan for the Avengers....the Young Avengers, aka the most widely diverse team I've ever seen and by far my favorite. The first member is America Chavez, aka Miss America. A hispanic teenager with super-strength, speed and flight. Like a better version of Cap. Next in the twins, Tommy Shepard and Bobby Kaplan. Reincarnation of Scarlet Witch's sons. Don't ask, even I don't understand. Tommy has Quicksilver's speed and goes by, well, Speed...

Hello! KitKat the demon cat has this new food and she's not only refusing to eat it but taking it out on us in the form of guilt-inducing, big-eyed stares and knocking anything and everything off of tables and bookshelves. In other news, Wonder Woman came out! Yup, hello, it's Noelle, and before you even start, I know that most of my nit picking is usually reserved for Marvel and whatever Chris they crank out of that secret, super-hero-actor farm they have hidden away.  BUT NOPE.  I decided to go see Wonder Woman, mostly because Mom wanted to see it and I like giving movies (and their companies) second chances. *awkward silence as I look passive agressively at Man of Steel* Anywho, I actually legitimately liked this movie.  So I thought I'd break it down for you in my NOT spoiler-free review.  Yeah, if you want to be spoiler free...this is not the place to be.  Sowwy.  ONWARDS, BRETHERN!! Hi guys! It's Elena again. A lot of you have probably heard of the new D.C superhero movie, starring Wonder Woman. I saw this on Saturday with my family and I had to write a review. This is my first time writing one. On to the post!!!

Hello, hello, hello! So Spider man: Homecoming is coming out soon, and I decided to write a post on it. Like every other blogger here....lets hope I at least get some notice.....which is unlikely. But any who, the newest installment in the new set of standalones promises to be a good one. (Though I'm still waiting for Captain Marvel and Inhumans) The movie is centered around 15-year old Peter Parker (played by Tim Holland), a nerdy high school student that.....it's well liked. When I said that, you probably imagined tall, blonde, jockey Flash Thompson, right? Well, you're kind of wrong. In this reimagining in the MCU, Flash is a snobby rich kid played by Tony Revolori. Finally, some representation! Some other new characters are Michelle, one of his classmates, and Ned. Ned is played by Jacob Batalon and is basically Peter's best friend. Also one of the few people to know about his powers. And, of course, there's MJ- wait. No. There's no Mary Jane...

Hiya! So I promised something messy this week, and messy I shall provide...Messy Marvel, that is. Hi! I know, I know.  I said I was going to take requests for December's posts, but I'm backing out of that deal because I put off writing my posts + had ideas for both this week and next week.  And I think after Christmas, I'm just going to...fade off into the distance...and take a break.  That's okay, right?  Right. Hey guys!! I decided to do a movie review for this post, since I saw a movie on Wednesday. Now, don't ask why I saw a movie on Wednesday. It was on a complete whim! But back to the topic at hand. I'm not the biggest DC fan, and I'd much rather see a Marvel movie, if given the chance. But, since my dad was super excited to see it, I begrudgingly went with him to see Suicide Squad. And man, were we disappointed. (Spoilers!) The movie is basically about this lady who groups together a bunch of villains in the hopes of making them a super hero team. The team consists of ten different people, though only eight of them are villains. The other two are there to make sure the villains don't turn on the good guys.

Hi everybody! I said I was going to do a post called '7 Truths About Writers' this week... I lied.  *collective gasp* (it'll happen...eventually...when I stop procrastinating) So...today I discovered the true benefits of being a writer.  No, not the self-discovery and introspect.  No, not the pleasure of finishing a final draft and just being done.  Not even the writing itself.  No, the true benefit is CHAPTER TITLES. IBFs formally apologizes to all the OCD people who are cringing in their seats as they notice how off center these screen shots are... (*Elena starts complaining in the distance*) And finally, my favorite.... (by book three, none of you should be surprised anymore...just sayin'...) So yes.  If you weren't looking forward to book three of RMS yet, YOU SHOULD BE NOW.  :D Let's see...I have a few art projects going, mostly just little boring sketches and stuff. Hi guys! So I've seen a couple movies recently and for some reason I wrote...reviews?  Well, I sorta did that thing that previews always do where they assign appealing adjectives....I don't know what to say beyond that. So I'm going to start, of course, with Disney Pixar's Finding Dory! I'm sorry that this is so blurry, but can we talk about how beautiful this poster is?  BECAUSE THIS POSTER IS GORGEOUS. ALL CAPS FOREVER. It was amazing, incredibly well done, with an excellent build up for a heart-wrenching finale, hilarious, and by far one of the best sequels I've ever seen.  5 out of 5 stars.  I'll try not to spoil anything but my favorite thing was the flashbacks - not too many, not too little - and how put together it was.  The plot line tied in beautifully.  There was also a huge (and very relevant) message - don't take fish away from their homes.  Never take fish out of the ocean.  I love it.  Great movie.  GO WATCH IT. ...
