Anna - The Life of a VBS Volunteer~GIF Style!

Hello peoples!
Well, I said that I would make this week's blog post interesting, and by golly, that's what I'm gonna do!

 So, last week I volunteered at my church's VBS. For those of you who don't know, VBS stands for Vacation Bible School, and it's kinda like a one week bible camp for elementary school kids. Every year the theme is different, and they always need volunteers!

 So without further ado, VBS in the eyes of a volunteer; in GIF form! *cheers of excitement!*
It's Sunday, you're sitting in church, the day goes well. When suddenly, it's time for announcements, and the call goes out: 

                                 



The dread hits you, but you fulfill your duty and volunteer


                   

Preparation goes well, you have some fun decorating and setting up
                   

By the time Day 1 rolls around, you feel pretty great, gonna change some kids' lives!
                  

But then....it begins


                   


By the end of the day you're burnt out, and reconsidering returning the next day
        
I know this isn't a GIF, bear with me


But you know you must carry on, and stay strong

                   


Lucky for you, the rest of the week flies by, getting easier with each day!




                           


Before you know it, the week is over; you've survived!


                


Now to sleep...

Hello, it's me... - Kathleen

Hello, I found the intro category. YAY!!! I’M DOING THINGS RIGHT! Ok, I’m Kathleen Pederson. Noelle is the only one that knows me, I met her when she moved here to the lovely Southern Illinois, Land of the Corn and Soybean fields. They’re great. Anyways, I’m 15 years old, I was born on January 17 th , 2001, really late at night. I have lived in Florida (three years), England (three years), and Illinois (9 years.) Noelle - Day 250 (The Post For Writers)

Hi everybody! Can you believe that we've already made it to Day 250??  I mean, that's like almost 100 days left!  (actually it's 114, since I took a day off for Christmas) I understand we have some new readers (because I've been nagging people again *angelic smile*) so allow me to explain.  WAAAY back at the start of this blog, I had the absolutely horrible idea that we should try to do something that I called the 365 Days Challenge.  That is, I wanted to post every single day , for a full year, without missing a single day.  And we just hit day two hundred and fifty.  Be impressed.  :P  {you can read more here , but I think I covered it all} But anyway, enough about that, I promised a post for writers and by golly I'm gonna do it.
