Noelle - 7 Problems about Being an Artist

By -
Hi guys!
Many of you probably remember my recent post, 7 Truths of Being a Writer.  Remember?  No?  Oh well, here, you can have a link so you can read it all over again :D

Anyway, some of you seemed to like it, and so I decided to do one about artists...well, turns out we have more problems than truths, so that's what I'm doing.  I hope you enjoy!

(Note: although it would make sense for me to draw out these problems, none of this is my artwork.  Because I'm lazy as heck.  So yeah, I do not claim credit for any of these)

Problem #1:  When it comes to our artwork, we are very self-conscious...over time.  YOU ALL KNOW ITS TRUE.

Problem #2:  Our brains and our hands never seem to quite cooperate.

Problem #3:  People do not understand.  Whether it comes to the different between art pencils and regular pencils, to the importance of different kinds of sketchbooks...to THE ARTIST'S BUBBLE, which should be respected at all times.

Problem #4:  Seriously.  People do not understand.

(on a side note, this picture always cracks me up.  THE EXPRESSIONS)

Problem #5:  this one is self-explanatory, especially for people who like drawing ...people.

Problem #6:  Eyes.  That's it.

And finally, problem #7:  DO YOU PEOPLE NOT UNDERSTAND.

(I always love the Sarah Andersen comics :)  )
Anyway, that's all I got for you guys today!  I hope you enjoyed this post and have a great day!  See you next week for another Saturday post!  And artists, comment below with your problems!  I  know I missed a lot lol.

Jay & Noelle - WRITINGS TIPS

By -
HEY GUYS!!! It’s Noelle and Jay, working on a post together!  (Gods help us) I’M HERE TOO, DUDES!! >:D Any who, we're doing a nice little writing tips post ...Like I said.  This is just a crazy post where two writers (also, character killers :D) will talk about writing and how to beat writer's block and...stuff like that.  Wow, I’m so articulate today. Very. But yeah, we’ll talk about the boring stuff. Then get to the cool stuff…..LIKE HOW TO KILL OF A CHARACTER AND MAKE IT COOL! (that’s her way of saying she likes killing characters)  Alright, I’m going to act like a lame talk show host and say, Jay, how do you beat writer's block? I mostly just do other writing styles for a bit, maybe work with other characters and such. Looking at comics, listening to music and drawing is also really helpful! (But sweet food is my real motivation, guys.) It’s about the same for me.  I’ve got a power playlist that I turn waaaay too high up and then ...

Hello, it's me... - Kathleen

By -
Hello, I found the intro category. YAY!!! I’M DOING THINGS RIGHT! Ok, I’m Kathleen Pederson. Noelle is the only one that knows me, I met her when she moved here to the lovely Southern Illinois, Land of the Corn and Soybean fields. They’re great. Anyways, I’m 15 years old, I was born on January 17 th , 2001, really late at night. I have lived in Florida (three years), England (three years), and Illinois (9 years.) I play a little soccer, bits of golf, and I love to swim. (Freestyle is my favorite.) I also play the piano. Any obsessions? Candles, Bath and Body Works, Scrapbook Paper, fairy lights, and nail polish. As far as blogging goes, I’m a bit of a newbie. I have done a little before. An online school had a little ePortfolio that I turned into a blog, then promptly got shut down because Chemistry grades were at a C. This time I have mother’s permission. So I talked to Noelle and I guess I get Sundays, which is a superb day for my schedule, but probably the hardest day to ac...
