7 Truths About Writers

Hi guys!
So this is something of a special post that I've been looking forward to writing for a while now!  I hope y'all enjoy it, especially the writers out there in the crowd.  Yes, I see you skulking around with your dozens of notebooks that you'll never fill.

So, International Bffs is proud to present:  7 Truths About Being a Writer!!
  1. You spend more time either staring at a blank page or coasting the internet than actually writing...but you do claim to be writing as soon as some one is asking you to do something.
  2. You are a horrible procrastinator.  It's a problem.  AND YOU KNOW IT.
  3. As mentioned earlier, you own lots of notebooks...notebooks filled with notes that you don't remember the reason for and ideas that you simply had to jot down at the time and blank pages that you'll probably never fill.
  4. You get ideas at random times and get really excited over it, possibly flailing your arms like Kermit the frog (I know that I do that....)
  5. Solved plot holes bring peace to your life.
  6. Accomplishment takes physical form in a crying reader.
  7. You have more book and story ideas then friends.

OK everybody, I hope you are having a great week! I, personally, have been super excited for today. Since school is starting soon, I thought I would share something I have been doing for a few years now. I like to decorate my school supplies in cute scrapbook paper. Some of my friends have asked me how to do it, so I'm going to show you how! Supplies: Spiral Notebook Scrapbook Paper Solid Color Printer Paper Graph Paper Liquid Glue Ruler Pencil Black Marker/Pen Directions: Trace your scrapbook paper to fit the notebook and cut it out. Then squeeze glue all over the front cover. Lay the paper down on top and use your ruler to push any air bubbles out. This is what it should look like now. 2. Write the title of your notebook (i.e. Math, English etc.) on the graph paper and cut it out, leaving a little room around it. 3. HEY GUYS!!! It’s Noelle and Jay, working on a post together!  (Gods help us) I’M HERE TOO, DUDES!! >:D Any who, we're doing a nice little writing tips post ...Like I said.  This is just a crazy post where two writers (also, character killers :D) will talk about writing and how to beat writer's block and...stuff like that.  Wow, I’m so articulate today.
