Jay - Day 336 (New Story Idea!)

Random story idea I got after I saw Noelle's last posts. Just read it, okay?

~~~~~~~~~~~
Alex sat in the passenger seat of the car, his foot tapping along to the beat of the song he was listening too. The music could be heard clearly through his headphones, and even his little sister in the back cringed when a loud part blasted from the sides of the boy's head. Said boy's long brown hair was pulled back in a mess ponytail-ish thing, some strands falling out and away from his face. His mother kept scolding him about not getting a haircut, but he was seventeen, turning eighteen in a month. Couldn't he make his own decisions?
Returning his dark green gaze to the road, he watched as buildings passed by in dark blurs. Other cars whooshed past, and he could barely make out their occupants before they disappeared. A strand of hair suddenly fell in his face, and he blew it back with a huff.
"Hey Alexander?" His mother spoke up from the driver's side, her eyes still fixed on the road. "I know you probably think this is unfair-"
"That's because it is." He cut in, his eyes suddenly turning downcast. He didn't want to go to that weird correctional facility. He knew for a fact that that book flew by itself.
"This might help sweetie. With the accidents." She gave him a soft smile as Alex scoffed. Yeah, him being able to move things with his mind were consider 'accidents'. Suurrreeee.
"Yeah, Allie! They might help!" His sister, Marie, piped up from the back seat. Rolling his eyes, he turned to glare at her. In response, the brunette squeaked and cowered in her seat, holding her hands up in surrender.
"Were almost there, you two. Now calm down." His mother scolded them again as she sighed, her eyes refocusing on the road. Her own eyes were a dark grey, just like Marie. Alex was the only one with green eyes in his family.
The car turned onto a dark forest road, and the widows became dappled in light. It was like the fur of Salem, his tortishell cat at home. His face turned angry at the thought, and he felt like punching something as his hormones raged. He just couldn't believe that his own mother was sending him to some.....some sort of asylum!
Claire, his mother, gave him a sympathetic glance as she turned onto the driveway of the facility her son would live in for the rest of his life. She didn't want to give up her son, of course not, but  she had no choice. Maybe they could help Alexander with his....abilities.
"We're here." Alex said sullenly as he stepped out of the car, slamming the dark blue door behind him. The building loomed up like a big dark castle in front of them, the huge barbed wire not helping the effect it had on the teen. The place was about two stories, and made up of little (well not exactly little, but you catch my drift) sectors. Alex could make out kids his age standing on a blacktop in prison-style uniforms, their faces downcast and beaten, even from where he stood in the parking lot.
"Well then, we should head in, right?" Claire said in the most cheerfulness voice she could muster. Behind her, Marie cowered, eyes wide and fearful. The woman picked her up with the ease of someone who had done in constantly before beginning to make her way to the building, and her son's future.
~~~~~~~~~~

"Hello, I'm here to check in my son." Claire hefted Marie on her hip, biting her lip from nervousness. Behind her and to her left, Alex messed with his phone, his eyes showing the faintest glimmer of fear. He had turned off his music, but his earbuds still dangled form his ears forlornly.

The huge bulk of a man behind the desk raised a thick eyebrow, his bald head gleaming. "Hm, his name?" He said in a deep baritone, his voice scratchy and growly. His tight security guard uniform barely held back his barreled chest and bulging biceps. Gulping, Claire responded in a quivering voice. "A-Alexander Forester Vaisen!"

Seeming to soften slightly, the guard leaned forward. "I've heard of him. He's one of the specials, eh? Alrighty then, come with me." The trio followed the man as he moved past the desk he once occupied and made his way to a thick black door hidden in the back corner. Pounded into the metal was a plaque that read:

Special Needs Children Of Amore's Correctional Facility
He pulled a key ring dripping with keys from his pocket and fished through them for a second. Retrieving a thick steel one from the masses, he shoved it into the lock and clicked it open. The noise it made seemed to echo around them despairingly.
Shivering, Alex followed the man past cell after cell. Peeking in one of the windows, the teen pulled back, slightly shocked. A girl sat in the middle of the room. She didn't look very odd, with simple red hair that fell to her jaw and bright amber eyes. The odd thing was the walls that kept her prisoner. Words were scribbled everywhere, ranging from insane scrawling to neat, perfect cursive. Shaking his head to rid himself of the sight, he looked down the hall to see his family had already reached the end.
"Come on, Allie!" Marie called, though her eyes were still filled with fright. He ran to catch up, and as he did, time seemed to slow down just for him. Shaking off the feeling, he reached his mom and sister. His mother was signing a large packet, and a thin, stick-like man stood in front of her, looking as if he had just given her said packet. His glasses were two-toned, one green, the other blue. His black hair fell messily around his face, and his lab coat hung off his thin frame like a loose blanket. He glanced up at Alex and gave him a twisted grin.
"You must be our newest member! I'm Fallow! Well, Doctor Sane to you, but my first name's Fallow. Fallow Sane." He held out a long-fingered hand, which Alex took cautiously.
"Alright, Mr. Sane, I finished the release forms. My son is now in- in you c-care." Claire sniffled, clasping a crying Marie's had for support. He released Doctor Sane's hand and slowly made his way over to his sniffling mother.
"Mom? I'm so-" He was stopped by her giving him a tight hug.
"Stay safe, sweetie." She kissed him all over the face. Instead of pushing her away like he normally would, Alex hugged her back, letting a few tears fall. He still had no idea what was really going on, but he felt safe in his mother's arms. And that was all that mattered right then.

Well then, there you have it. Should I continue it? I want to, but i'm soo busy. If I do, this would be a side project.
