DIY Notebooks!! - Kathleen

OK everybody, I hope you are having a great week! I, personally, have been super excited for today.
Since school is starting soon, I thought I would share something I have been doing for a few years now. I like to decorate my school supplies in cute scrapbook paper. Some of my friends have asked me how to do it, so I'm going to show you how!

Supplies:

• Spiral Notebook
• Scrapbook Paper
• Solid Color Printer Paper
• Graph Paper
• Liquid Glue
• Ruler
• Pencil
• Black Marker/Pen

Directions:

1. Trace your scrapbook paper to fit the notebook and cut it out. Then squeeze glue all over the front cover. Lay the paper down on top and use your ruler to push any air bubbles out.

This is what it should look like now.

2. Write the title of your notebook (i.e. Math, English etc.) on the graph paper and cut it out, leaving a little room around it.

3. Trace around the graph paper on the colored printer paper, leaving about a centimeter of border. Cut it out and glue the title paper in the center.

4. Glue the title piece to the notebook with a little amount of glue. Use your ruler to get the little air bubbles out.

This is what your finished product should look like!

Now you have a cute notebook to do school and homework in. It might even make it a little more enjoyable! I made four, here is a little picture of all of them. I got my scrapbook paper at Michaels (a craft store near us, just in case you don't have those) late last night.
