Hey this is Boomer, Jillian's dog, and as a new blogger
I devote my first post on this blog to shelter dogs :)

Just last Saturday I was sitting in my
metal kennel listening to the pit bull beside me barking about food and on
my other side was a terrier jumping about six feet in the air. 

Then my new family came to pick me up, I was so happy!




Now they play with me and I get lots of walks. I get let out whenever I want, I get my own
toys, and I get petted all day long :D

So the moral of the story for you dog owners is if your searching for a dog, try looking
at a shelter first.

Here's a little post from Jillian about how wonderful I am:
Yes, Boomer is wonderful, he doesn't bark or whine (just grunts and snores), he doesn't beg at meal times, is leash trained, knows how to play fetch (is working on drop it), and is in training for some awesome tricks! (Boomer with keep you posted on recent tricks he knows)

Anyway, all I'm trying to say that shelter dogs can be just as amazing a 
dog from a purebred breeder, maybe even better.

So with that, take it away Boomer!

Hello, it's me... - Kathleen

Hello, I found the intro category. YAY!!! I’M DOING THINGS RIGHT! Ok, I’m Kathleen Pederson. Noelle is the only one that knows me, I met her when she moved here to the lovely Southern Illinois, Land of the Corn and Soybean fields. They’re great. Anyways, I’m 15 years old, I was born on January 17 th , 2001, really late at night. I have lived in Florida (three years), England (three years), and Illinois (9 years.) I play a little soccer, bits of golf, and I love to swim. (Freestyle is my favorite.) I also play the piano. Any obsessions? Noelle - Day 250 (The Post For Writers)

Hi everybody! Can you believe that we've already made it to Day 250??  I mean, that's like almost 100 days left!  (actually it's 114, since I took a day off for Christmas) I understand we have some new readers (because I've been nagging people again *angelic smile*) so allow me to explain.  WAAAY back at the start of this blog, I had the absolutely horrible idea that we should try to do something that I called the 365 Days Challenge.  That is, I wanted to post every single day , for a full year, without missing a single day.  And we just hit day two hundred and fifty.  Be impressed.  :P  {you can read more here , but I think I covered it all} But anyway, enough about that, I promised a post for writers and by golly I'm gonna do it.
