Jillian- Day 8 (Scouts..)

Image
This weekend we went camping with the cub scouts for Blue and Gold. For people that aren't in scouts Blue and Gold is a ceremony where  the scouts get there next rank. My mom, the cub master, scheduled a big carnival for the boys. There was a dunk tank, popcorn machine, snow cone machine, and we camped out. It was a blast. I taught all the dens and boy scouts skits and songs. They all did great, I'm surprised that they did so good because if you know scouts they are all like SQUIRREL!! I don't have a short story for this post but I'll hopefully with have one soon :) Bye!

Jillian- Day 7 (You Might Be A Military Brat If...)

Many of us that read this blog are military brats so I came up with... You Might Be A Military Brat If: -all your furniture has little square moving stickers on them -you automatically stand at attention when the national anthem is played -you have to have a whole conversation about where your from -you know what a challenge coin is -your homeschooled -you compare TLF's -you know what a TLF is -you compared how far and how many times you've moved with your friends -when the only good part of moving is unpacking and finding things you forgot about   If you have any others put them in the comments :)   Horse Book Part 7 By Moonlace Shimmer        After walking a little ways longer the three horses ended up in a room that looked exactly like the one they left, but this one had different paintings and was smaller. This was obviously a private room. "Welcome Miss Spark and Mis...

Jillian- Day 6 (Br@ Ch@ Poster)

Hey so I just had an epic idea! What if there could be a newspaper written by homeschooled military  kids for homeschooled military kids. Check out this poster I made!        Wouldn't that be awesome!!!! Kids could send in their articles, I could type them up, then they would be sent to families to print out. I'll have to work on it more, but I hope it's something we could do!     Horse Book Part 6 By Moonlace Shimmer     As soon as the mare was done, Silver was as dry as a bone. The important looking horse in the middle of the half circle stomped his hoof on the ground making it echo through the room. "If Miss Spark would follow me please, and you too Miss Greenlawn," the boss horse started walking toward a door to the right of Silver. She followed and so did a horse a little shorted then herself. The horse might have been a halflinger with a chocolaty brown coat, and her very long mane and tail were mossy green ...

Jillian- Day 5 (Br@ Ch@)

Hey, so not much to report today. Did school.. and school.. and more school. So I was thinking... what if the Homeschool group had a newspaper? It could be called Brat Chat. For people that aren't military, a military brat is a kid that has parents/parent in a military branch. Anyway kids could send in reviews about movies, books, short stories, or things that happened to them. I'll see how this go and maybe I can put some articles on this blog :) Horse Book Part 5   By Moonlace Shimmer    Silver shook her head and looked at Aquarius for an answer, when she saw that right there on his forehead, coming out of his forelock, was a long, sharp horn. Looking around even more Silver noticed that some of the horses in the room had wings, others had horns. She was now more confused then ever, she sputtered, "Aquarius..how...what...I.." "It's okay, the council will explain after you get dry," Aquarius replied, simply. All of a sudden feeling self co...

Jillian- Day 4 (A Little NASCAR Update)

Image
Hey, sorry I've been off. Procrastination, I'm telling ya. The world isn't failing because of war, it procrastination! Anyway, today my family and I went to the Pocono's NASCAR Race. My driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr. didn't win. Sad face :( But Gracen and Alex's driver Jimmie Johnson won. It's sad because this was the Fenimores last Pocono's Race. Extra sad face :'( I really don't have anymore to say so here another part of my book. Horse Book Part 4   By Moonlace Shimmer     "Goodness!" snorted a tall, regal mare. She was a dapple gray, and everything about her was normal except her spots were rainbow colored! Solver couldn't believe what she was seeing, and after looking the mare over more she noticed right there on her back were a pair of giant, feathery wings that folded up on the mares back. Silver just stood there, staring. Aquarius smirked and shouldered Silver, snapping her from the trace she felt she was in. She ...
