International BFF's

Ok, so I finally figured out that I want to be an art teacher or artist of some kind. I have been doing some different impersonations of different artists. Here I did Picasso. And no I didn't do one of the weird ones with the eyes where the nose and ear should be. I did a very simple one. Please comment and tell me if you like it!! -Madison

My Nails The Tutorial 

Not even really a story... But hey I hope you like it!  Comment!!! A breeze rustles my copper-colored hair.  The sky is painted pink and gold, glimmering with the last bits of summer sunset light.  The shingles of the roof feel rough beneath my fingers.  I lean back.  This is life. The clouds still hovering above the earth turn a deep crimson.  My socks start to feel cold once the sun starts to dip beneath the rim of the earth.  Chills shake my skin, but I refuse to leave my perch on top of the house.  It's so quiet, so peaceful, so alone.  This is where I belong. The wind picks up, and the ancient strands of ivy that cling to the oak behind the house rustle and shake.  The remains of rush hour limp past on the main road.  A single prick of starlight reaches down to me, whispering for me to sleep, but I keep my eyes wide awake.  I'm not leaving yet. The last streaks of purple disappear from the sky and stars begin...

This doesn't really... Fit the cookie-cutter story I usually write, but check it out!  :-) The date is December 27th, 2014.  I’m sitting on a bed, surrounded by friends and tablets of all shapes and sizes.  Our mission?  Surviving in a harsh environment known as Minecraft! I’ve just joined the game, but I know my way around the tunnels already.  Pickaxes have already been made, and torches line the halls.  Mine here I come.  But first, it falls on me to make a safe room, complete with stoves, beds, and crafting tables underground.  I tastefully decorate the basic stone room with torches and a single-block chest. Shadow Girl I first see her when I am in the cafeteria, Tuesday morning.  Unlike usual I'm not sitting at a table doodling.  Jake stole my notebook, and I am attempting to pry it out of his fingers when I see a teenage girl, probably my age, walking.  She drifts down the aisle between crowded tables, with no backpack or anything else in her hands as a matter of fact.  She isn't going anywhere, and that's what strikes me as odd.  On a Tuesday morning, in the seventh grade, just before school starts, 

I do these cute little drawings of characters I call essence creatures.  I thought you would like to see one.  This one is a waterling that I did on my iPad, through a free drawing app called Drawing Box.  Try it out if you like drawing!!
