I could have died today. I'm kidding, not really, there's like zero chance that I could have died.  However, we did get kicked out of our house today!! ... Is this how you make click bait-y stuff? Sorry that this post is a bit late, I was super busy with our church's annual Oktoberfest today (I'll be posting about it on my other blog, Today I Met , if you want to hear about it!)  But anyway, I'm sure you want to know why I bothered with the clickbait title and the shenanigans.  So stand up!  Now go make some popcorn and sit back down because lesgo: So this lovely lil' story starts two months ago, on a fateful day in the middle of summer.  The mowers were buzzing around, being generally bad at their job and causing grass to go alloverda place.  As they swept past our yard, Mom noticed that the cap on the external sewer pipe was missing - possibly because of the mowers, possibly because of other things, maybe a mixture of both.  At any rate, she h...

Hey y'all! I've been putting together a list of helpful stuff (both for school, family life, and self-care) that y'all should probably know if you want to survive and thrive through your teenage years.  I'm going to split it up, so that you don't get overwelmed by 101 Tips or something, so know that this is part one of a series that I'll hopefully remember to continue!  Okay, let's go ahead and get into it :) 101 Ways to NOT Die (before age 18) #1-20: Take notes.  In every class.  Do so by hand, if at all possible (and have seperate notebooks for each class so it's easy to reference those notes!)  You'll pay attention more, have something to study from easily, and remember the lecture itself much better Drink water (not soda!) every day! Listen to your body.  Don't stay up late writing silly blog posts.  Yes, I'm being passive agressive to myself Save 50% of all your income (even if it is just an allowance or baby-sitting money) Dona...

Which is... right now.  I am one of those pesky kids and I do not tolerate adults degrading and undermining teenagers, as all of you know from my various posts.  If you haven't read them yet, here you go, episodes 1-5, go read them: Episode 1  (These are  the best years of your life) Episode 2  (Phones) Episode 3  (What do you want to be when you grow up?) Boobs Episode 5 (Relationships) Alright, welcome to Episode 6!  I started drafting this after one too many high school teachers used the phrase, 'kids these days' (or something to that effect) and I realized I would love nothing more than to take that teacher by the shoulders...smile and be ever-so-prissy and polite... And scream, "WHAT'S SO WRONG WITH B...
