Noelle - Day 104 (Business as Usual)
Nothing to see here...move along...
Hi!
Found this post as a draft...no idea what I was intending to write, but I'll take it. Um, so today I'm going to post a ton of R.M.S., so if you're not interested, you can leave now. There is nothing hiding, just R.M.S. today... sorry. There'll be more interesting stuff tomorrow, promise.
Just a quick update: I have two versions of R.M.S.: one with comments, and the other just with the regular story. The comments one I can make available to you, cuz it's filled with juicy spoilers and fun facts and behind-the-scenes and stuff, but if you don't want the story lined ruined for you, then don't ask. Comment if you do want the special version (although it's not finished yet)
Anyway...where did we leave off? *taps chin thoughtfully* Ah, yes, I remember now!
“I’m here,” came the thin whisper, but that weak voice was the happiest thing that Danny had heard all week.

Random Marvel-based Story {Comment with what you think the name should be} (Parts 54, 55 & 56) {I told you there was a ton of R.M.S. today!}
Whatever Danny expected when he walked into the training hall, it certainly wasn’t Tony Stark, Nick Fury, and Spider-man all frozen in fear as Jess tied them up one by one.
“Don’t do this Clara,” Fury whispered.
“I’ve already done it,” she whispered right back, her hair loose against her face. Danny swallowed and darted behind a set of arrows.
Jess stood, stretching, and called, “I know that there’s somebody else in here. Where is the question, but don’t worry. If you try to leave this training hall - I can shoot you before you make it out the door.”
She paced around the training hall, circling right past where Danny hid. He sucked in his breath, but Jess didn’t notice.
Nick Fury, tied and kneeling on the ground, grunted, causing Jess to kick him hard in the back of the head. He grunted again, trying to distract Jess.
“Shush, Fury, I don’t want to hear anything else from you.” Jess snapped. Her eyes darted up and down the hall and an evil grin spread across her formerly pretty face. “Come out, come out, wherever you are...c’mon, I thought S.H.I.E.L.D. agents were supposed to be brave?” She taunted, spinning the stun gun around and around her finger.
When she finally glanced away, Nick nodded. He isn’t about to let that agent comment go, Danny thought, and slipped out of his hiding spot, right out into the open. “Jess,” He called, immediately regretting the word as soon as it had slipped out of his lips.
She spun around, her loose hair flying, and Danny’s mind flashed back to when she had done that same thing. The last time Jess had done that, he had ended up with a knife to his throat. “We are brave, you know, but you? You’re just a big coward,” Danny called in a very non-Daniel-ish voice, bracing for impact.
Instead, a flicker of fear darted across Jess’s eyes. “Who are you?” She said, hushed.
“You’re not joking...are you?” Danny said after a second or two.
Jess shook her head, scanning Daniel for weapons. “I know you, don’t I?” She whispered.
Danny nodded, and the gun clattered to the ground. “I’m really sorry,” Jess whispered. And then she collapsed. Again.
*******
Blonde hair and shattered glass.
Screams in the dark.
And a sweet, girly laughter that wove in and out of everything, dancing around like it had no owner.
That’s all I can remember.
But wait...I know something else. I’m Jessie Willow. Am I alive? Yes. There’s another thing. Am I breathing? I assume so. Add that to the list. Am I awake? I don’t know yet. That’s a very short list.
There’s more to remember...but everything hurts so much. Can’t it wait...no. No, I have to know, and soon.
I remember an Art Gallery, with a beautiful glass sculpture. Focus on that. It was a girl in motion, a girl like me. Why does this hurt so much? It’s just remembering,
Wait, another thing. Memory wipes. Something about memory wipes and keywords and pain. But that hurts too. I want to remember something else...something that doesn’t hurt. There has to be something like... Three little chess pieces, waiting to be knocked over. That doesn’t hurt. Good....
“Jess...it’s time to wake up.” Who said that? Hello? No noise, and everything’s so dark. I don’t want to wake up. It’s even darker and scarier and there’s so much to take care of. Too much to do. No, I want to stay here, where it’s nice and warm.
“Please Jess, if you can hear me...wake up Jess...” No. I don’t want to do that. I was remembering things, you know! Can you hear me? I might have figured it out...figure what out? Ouch, that really hurts, ah! It burns no no no, make it stop...make it stop...make it stop...
*******
“Please Jess, if you can hear me...wake up Jess...” Danny sat beside the rigid body of Jess. No, a body was too horrible - too dead. She’s going to be ok, Danny reminded himself. Not that there was ever any doubt.
Jess moaned, and her back arched again, her breath catching. Who am I kidding? He thought. She’s totally not ok.
The past week had been horrible. Lives had been threatened, and very nearly lost, and it was bad. Nick Fury refused to kick her off the team, shocking Nova and making Ava go on a twenty minute tirade about irresponsibility. If Jess ever woke up, she might find a murderous bunch of teenagers out for her blood. At least this time I’m not one of them, Danny thought, grabbing Jess’s hand for what seemed like the one thousandth time as her back went rigid and her breathing stopped.
“Breathe, Jess, wake up,” Danny whispered, ordering her with his mind to do so. Jess cringed in her sleep and curled against him, clutching onto his hand for dear life. “C’mon, Jessie, that wasn’t so hard of a request.” Nothing. “WAKE UP!!!” Jess groaned and squeezed his hand harder, if that was possible.
“I’m here,” came the thin whisper, but that weak voice was the happiest thing that Danny had heard all week.
Well, that's all for today! I hope you liked it and, yes, there's more coming tomorrow. *Evilly laughs like a maniac* Also, I am definitely going as Jess for Halloween, photos forth-coming! *Evil laughing continues* See y'all tomorrow!
Update: Sorry! I missed Monday Morning Fashion Roundup! I'm a horrible blogger (sarcasm! Geez, we need a sarcasm font). I'll do better next week and we'll forget that this ever happened.
