Noelle - Day 337 (Stuff About Me!) (Idea Credit to Jay)

It's your favorite local blogger, Noelle!  How are y'all doing today?

I'm actually doing well, believe it or not.  I have my fight song (not to be confused with Fight Song, by Rachel Platten) playlist going, and since nobody except me is home, I can turn it up WAY LOUD WOO HOOOOOO PARTY!

So recently, Jay Blank, the newest most popular blogger of IBFs (no, seriously, two of Jay's posts have reached the top 5 of the month and 3 have made it to the top 10 posts of all time!) did a post all about her.  I thought I'd do something similar, because...why not?

Without Further Ado - STUFF ABOUT ME:

  • My name is Noelle Matherne
  • International Bffs is one of five or six blogs that I admin (two were combined, so counting those as different blogs are sorta cheating.  Also, those two plus another are inactive)
  • I have three current blogs
  • I am the original creator of International Bffs and I thought it wouldn't last longer than a month
  • The 365 Days Challenge is also my idea.  My apologies.
  • I have a wonderful dog, named Skoshi
  • Skoshi's full name is I No Watashi No Skoshi Elizabeth Melendez Matherne (I know that's not really about me but whatever)
  • I also have a cat named Joey, who is almost as old as me
  • I am 14, by the way
  • I also also have a 1 y.o. cat named Katherine, also known as KitKat, Kitten, Mouse, Demon Cat, and Fuzz Butt (one of these things is not like the other....)
  • My dad is in the Air Force
  • I speak phrases in German and expect people to understand.  Sorry.
  • I lived in both Germany and Japan, and visited my father in Honduras, where he was stationed for a year
  • I have moved a total of seven times
  • I will be moving again this summer to St. Louis, making me the 5th IBFs author to move away while posting
  • I have never been some where more than three years
  • I have lived in New Jersey a total of four years, but in three separate moves
  • New Jersey is a black hole
  • I used to play the piano but I quit recently, as I want to focus my creative energy on other art forms
  • I have written two young adult books (both part of the RMS/Messy Marvel series), two children's books ("If You Take a Mom to Lowes" and "Bob the Balloon")
  • I love to draw and paint
  • I currently like painting with just water color pencils and no brush
  • I am in 8th grade, but I'm taking geometry (which is 9th or 10th grade math), 9th grade religion, and 7th grade science
  • I say I hate roller coasters but I wanted to go on El Toro (I didn't; we didn't have time)
  • I love heights though!
  • I some how have time to play video games; my favorites currently are Disney Infinity 3.0, Splatoon, and Mariokart 8
I know it's a long list, but that's my post about me!  I hope you enjoyed it.  Ask questions if you want and now for our daily!

OK everybody, I hope you are having a great week! I, personally, have been super excited for today. Since school is starting soon, I thought I would share something I have been doing for a few years now. I like to decorate my school supplies in cute scrapbook paper. Some of my friends have asked me how to do it, so I'm going to show you how! Supplies: Spiral Notebook Scrapbook Paper Solid Color Printer Paper Graph Paper Liquid Glue Ruler Pencil Black Marker/Pen Directions: Trace your scrapbook paper to fit the notebook and cut it out. Then squeeze glue all over the front cover. Lay the paper down on top and use your ruler to push any air bubbles out. This is what it should look like now. 2. Write the title of your notebook (i.e. Math, English etc.) on the graph paper and cut it out, leaving a little room around it. 3. Jay & Noelle - WRITINGS TIPS

HEY GUYS!!! It’s Noelle and Jay, working on a post together!  (Gods help us) I’M HERE TOO, DUDES!! >:D Any who, we're doing a nice little writing tips post ...Like I said.  This is just a crazy post where two writers (also, character killers :D) will talk about writing and how to beat writer's block and...stuff like that.  Wow, I’m so articulate today. Very. But yeah, we’ll talk about the boring stuff. Then get to the cool stuff…..LIKE HOW TO KILL OF A CHARACTER AND MAKE IT COOL! (that’s her way of saying she likes killing characters)  Alright, I’m going to act like a lame talk show host and say, Jay, how do you beat writer's block? I mostly just do other writing styles for a bit, maybe work with other characters and such. Looking at comics, listening to music and drawing is also really helpful! Why hello there! Welcome, welcome! Remember that cute little Easter Bunny short story I wrote a while back? Well, I thought, since it was so much fun to write, i'll do another! Fun, right?
