Noelle - Day 306 (Remarkable Journalling)

Hello!
It's your friendly...neighborhood...me.  That was not very interesting.  I feel like I should have a catch phrase or something unique, ya know?  Like Jillian did the "hey hey hey" for the longest time, and Jay Blank throws in phrases in foreign languages.  Hmmmm.  I will think on this.

Anyway, yesterday (I think it was yesterday...aaaaah the days are starting to blur!) I talked about the Remarkable Journal and how I wanted to post some of my entries.  Soooooo I'm going to do so today!  These are all questions from the point of view of an alien who has no clue what human culture is like.  I find it interesting, because I got to ask all sorts of questions.

  • Why do humans chose such strange and useless animals to keep and become attacked to, while there are so many good and tame ones in their world?
  • How are humans constantly able to make connections between their life and a set of words and chords they call songs?  What are the point of songs anyway?
  • Who invented the past time of sitting outside in the evenings, while male humans grill food, polluting the air and getting eaten alive by bugs?
  • Why are people always knocking on my door?  Surely there is a better way to get my attention than repeatedly punching my house until I answer.  Why does this always disturb pets?
  • What would trees look like if a giant were to come along, pull it up, and shove it back down in the ground with the root side up?
  • Why do humans stare out windows, when the scene outside is inevitably and virtually the same?
  • If boys are such daredevils, do they break more bones than girls?
  • Wouldn't it make sense to lengthen long term school, ending it at say, age 25, meaning doing less work on any given day and making use of this precious youth that old folk are constantly going on about?
  • Who thought out the word cheese?
  • I do not understand: why is diagramming a sentence important?  Is sentence diagramming a job that I can be paid for in the future?
  • Humans have special "diaries" where they write about themselves.  If you never intend on showing it to anybody, what is the point?
  • Why do humans constantly fight for peace?  Is there no better way to solve political and religious differences than to sacrifice young men and women daily?
  • Why does pigmentation of skin and hair change the way humans treat each other?
  • What is the allure of fashion, and why does it seem than the male humans are immune?
  • What came first - the orange or orange?
  • Why force the children to go to school, if they hated school themselves?  Do fully grown humans have memory issues?
  • What is the "ol' red white en blue" and why does it matter so much?
  • Why do humans waste so much of their lives?
  • What is the function of a rubber duck?
  • What purpose do giraffes serve?
(International Bffs:  where we ask the real questions in life, and then answer none of them)

I hope you found this post interesting, and comment if you think I should post more!  Have a great day, and I'll see you tomorrow for another fantabulous post!!

  1. The answer to the rubber ducky one is so you can sing about them of course!
(Questions? Ask Slothman or Vegetable about the ducky song and prepare entertainment...)

And its "Hey hey"... and I didn't used to do say that... I still do!

  2. Humans waste their lives because they think that they live forever. Or they think they will live a long life. In reality, life is short, going away in a blur. Not everyone wastes their lives though. Some take chances, live long felt to the fullest. Others don't get that chance. They are idiots.
