Noelle - Day 281 (Life Currently)

HIIIIIIII EVERYBODY!!

How are you on this fantabulous Tuesday?  It is Tuesday, right? *frantically checks and makes sure I don't have the date wrong* Okay, yeah.  Fantabulous Tuesday.

So I realized I haven't really given you guys a good update on my life in who knows how long.  Therefore...update on life!

School has been a bit stressful lately, between Dead Week (3rd Quarter Exams are killer y'all) and trying to juggle my increasingly demanding hobbies (writing, blogging, 4-H, etc.) with my also demanding responsibilities.  My dad just left on a 10 week school trip (military kids know what I'm talking about) and so it's just my mom, my grandmother (say hi MawMaw!) and I chilling in the house.

Although grey days are never fun, they do have fantastic sunsets...which is why I love late winter/early spring

I don't know if I mentioned it (most everybody knows, anyway), but I got braces!  They're really not all that bad - the spacers are the real killers.

Another thing that I don't know if I mentioned or not (but I know Jillian did here) but we recently had our homeschool spring dance (sooooo fun)  We all dressed up and all the girls squealed over dresses and makeup and stuff.  This year, the theme was "Masquerade" so we all had masks (mine came off, along with my high heels about ten minutes in lol)

Here's my full outfit (sorry it's a little blurry)  I wish I got a photo of the dress in action - it's like umbrella being spun galore.  Very pretty.  Anyway, and the top was stretchy material so it looked (and sorta felt) like a comfortable corset.  And bonus:  it's thrift store!  I got it for just eight bucks!!

I convinced Dad to go with me :D

And of course, I always have to put up with Mouse, a.k.a. "small demon" (no seriously, she responds to that)  She's been just plain adorable recently!  When she's not destroying things, of course.

Recently, she's taken to jumping into the dryer while Mom is folding clothes and just chilling there (who knows why)

SEE!?  YOU CAN TOTALLY TELL WHERE SHE GOT THE NAME SMALL DEMON FROM!!!

"Am I alright Momma?  I can stay here? Really?!"

Anyway, we're getting off subject.  I spend most of my time these days (time not spent on last school assignments, that is) writing.  Which reminds me, I updated The Warriors, with corrected grammar mistakes and fixing small confusions, so you might want to go check it out!

For those of you who don't know what The Warriors is:  Basically, Noelle (your favorite blogger) got bored and wrote a full Marvel fan fiction in the form of a book series (yes, you read that right, series).  The Warriors is the first in the series.  If you are interested in reading, send and email, I'd love to send it to you :D

At any rate, I've updated it.

And of course, I spend time creating artwork, either at my desk (which drives Dad nuts) or in my newly organized workshop!  Yes, I have a workshop.  It's in the back of our garage and has a frighteningly paint-drenched carpet for a floor.   Still, I love hanging out with my friends back there.

You can see why - ain't it cozy?

In case you've never seen it, that huge clover banner on the left is a banner that I made for my 4-H club (Sod Squad) on fabric!!  Have you ever painted on fabric?  Especially FELT?!  It is not fun.  But I still love that banner.
