Noelle - Day 65 (Poetry People, Poetry)
So I was bored. Again.
I really don't have any special events planned for a while, except maybe some R.M.S. parts and a few book reviews, so I'm just going to laze about with some copy and paste from my writing notebook (mainly poetry, although there are a few creative paragraphs). So, for the next couple of days it's all going to be poetry, peeps.
Note: I'm still taking movie requests! Comment with your favorite Disney, or Pixar, or Marvel, or maybe even DC (meh) and I might do some fan art for you. Ok, Kirk out.
Searching For You (a poem)
I looked for u behind the bench,
But she was nowhere to be found.
I looked for o down a vase,
But he didn't want to be seen.
I look for y with my dog where she likes to nap,
But she was gone as gone could be.
Then I bumped into someone
(I wasn't looking where I walked)
And it turned out,
By fate's design,
That I found them all:
It was you!
Speck (a creative paragraph)
On plane flights I like to stare out at the toy cities and ant-ish cars driving minuscule miles. I see dots and twinkles, faery lights and bits and bobs, and specks uncountable. And I wonder, is that another girl, staring at the sky, and wondering about my airplane?
Purple 2 (a poem)*
Purple is soft and quiet,
A blanket by the fire.
Purple is warm and loving,
A mom when you're sad.
Purple is happy and friendly,
A cheerful friend at school.
Purple is shy and timid,
A lonely girl in the corner.
Purple is special.
*I had written another one like this poem, but wanted to call both of them Purple, so this one is Purple Two. I felt like I had to explain that.
Thunder is (a poem) {Last one for today!}
Thunder is a thousand horses,
Thunder is Mother Nature's forces,
Thunder is where the water meets the air.
Thunder is me doing chores,
Thunder is creaking unopened doors,
Thunder is a rockslide down a hill.
Thunder is the thousand-strong crown,
Thunder is the metal of an amp still loud,
Thunder is a cloud of dust over the horizon blue.
Alright, thank you for reading, and I'll see you tomorrow for more poetry and stuff. Challenge: post your best poems as well! Inklings unite!
