Noelle - Day 64 (Let the Randomness Commence!)
Ok, so today,
I have nothing planned for my blog, so let's just see what we can do.
So yeah, photos. I've added a description of each. Most of these are just Pinterest, so please, I take no credit, and I will try to find the names of these artists or something. Have fun reading, and there is an R.M.S. part (or parts) waaaaaay down there. Don't know what R.M.S. is, new-comer? Click this link here to find out more, plus to get a listing of all the parts from day one. Make sure you check out Jillian's R.F.S. (Random Fox Story) and enjoy!
Alright, so that's all the coolio artwork for today, I hope you guys liked it. I'm kinda starting (I hope) to get the hang of posting every day (I know, it's already 64 days in and you're just know saying that Noelle, wow, that's just sad) but it's not as easy as it looks. I mean, we haven't missed a single day!
I haven't been doing much, art wise recently, simply because, you know, school started and I've been writing like crazy, trying to finish book one of R.M.S. (yes, I said book one; there's more) before October. Why? Well, it would just be nice, but the bigger reason here is the fact that I'm actually going as Jess for Halloween, plus a friend of mine is going as the villain - so you kinda need to know what we look like and stuff, right? Otherwise we would be walking, breathing spoilers.
I'll be posting some pictures of the costume pieces soon enough - just little bits at first, then starting to put it together as time goes on. And now (drum roll please) parts 26 and 27 of R.M.S. Amazing how far I've gotten in these past 64 days, and I will see you again tomorrow, for Day 65 of 365 Days. (300 hundred to go, thank you very much)
Luke snatched the paper away before Iron fist could. “I dunno, man, this is her personal information. We should trust her - when she gets back on Monday, she’ll probably explain it like she always does!” Nobody said anything else, but they all knew that nobody believed him.

Sorry, this ones really long. It's a collection, so I don't know who the artists are. But honestly? All of them are amazing in it's own right. |

Random Marvel-based Story (Parts 26 & 27)
If Peter was surprised to see Jess at the temporary HQ early the next morning, he didn’t show it. She didn’t show any pain either - it was like getting slammed into a solid concrete wall was nothing to her.
Nick Fury walked into the conference room for their morning briefing, sipping a steaming cup of coffee in a mug that clearly proclaimed ‘I don’t care’. He glared at them all (this was normal) and set his cup down with a thud that made everyone except Jess jump (this was also normal).
“Alright web warriors,” he said grumpily. “Just a quick overview before you start your training. The helicarrier will be done in three to four weeks-” there were many groans in the room as everybody realized that an extra two weeks had been added to the building schedule “- but you kids are welcome to go down to Jersey any time you want. Yes I know, Jess, I know you don’t want to go down there, but if we could have a wild card there all the time that would be great.”
Everybody swiveled around to look at Jess, who was sitting as still as if she had been petrified. A slight pink crept into her cheeks and she muttered an apology before all but sprinting out of the room. The web warriors glanced at eachother, confused, then turned back to Fury.
“Also, congrats to Peter and Jess,” Nick said as he took another a sip of coffee, “For helping in the takedown of the Adaptoid last night. I know Spider-man didn’t actually fight,” he added, putting up a finger to stop Peter from talking, “But he saved almost 100 civilians and minimized the damage that was done. Jess, well...Jess kept him distracted until the Avengers could show up.”
The team nodded in unison. Peter had already filled them in on what had gone down the night before. Danny seemed particularly intrigued, but that could have just been him being a weird fortune cookie. Spider-man shrugged at this thought and returned his attention to Director Fury.
“We got this encrypted message last night - it was sent via an untraceable hijacked signal,” Nick said, pulling up a document on the touch screen. “It was encrypted in our codes, meaning whoever it was, they want us to see it.” He flicked the document from his place at the table to rest in front of the team, who looked at it with interest.
White Tiger cocked her head to the side and said, “Give...me...Jessie Willow...and I...will...spare...his life?” She pulled off her mask and looked at Nick Fury. “Whose life?”
“I don’t know, but I want you to be on your toes until we figure out what’s going on,” Nick said, standing up. He handed a sheet of paper to Peter, explaining, “This is your training schedule for today. Jess will join you shortly.”
“Wait! Wait up!” Nova said, standing up and slamming his hands on the table angrily. “Why do they want Jess?”
Nick Fury turned around just long enough to say, “It’s classified.”
“Classified!” Spider-man joined in - as much as he didn’t want to agree with Buckethead, he wanted to get to the bottom of this just as much as Nova did. If Nick knew and just wasn't telling them.... “She’s our team member - we deserve to know why some...I dunno, terrorist or something...would want Jess!”
Jess herself stalked in - she had obviously been listening around the corner. Danny started when he caught a glimpse of her face through her loose black hair - she had a cold, hard look, the kind of look a haunted veteran has after years of war. No expression like that should have ever been on Jess’s sweet face. She shoved past Nick Fury, who didn’t seem to mind for once and slid a paper across the table. “There,” she said flatly. “You wanted information, you got it.” Turning her back on her team, she said in that same horribly flat voice to Fury, “I’m going on a trip, won’t be back till Monday. Details later.”
She pulled out a gun that Danny had noticed she always carried on her and shot the window next to her, making everybody wince and cover their faces to avoid getting cut by the shattered glass. When they had looked up, Jess was gone.
Nick Fury calmly covered the widow with emergency sealer and walked out with a final, “You might want to read that real carefully,” and disappeared into the corridor.

“What I don’t get,” White Tiger said, shaking the paper flat in her hands, “Is why half the villains on the planet have a price on Jess’s head?! I mean, c’mon - I can understand the Beetle, and I don’t even know how the Grizzly has enough money to scrape up to pay this - but Doc Ock? Dracula? Modock? These are big leagues here, not just little home town New York. Quit it Nova.”
Nova froze, dropped the icecube down Ava’s back anyway, and issued a scream several octaves too high as White Tiger jumped up and ran after him howling. Spider-man picked up the paper with the file on Jess Willow. “What’s this here - brought into S.H.I.E.L.D. under protection of two troops? Why does Jess need that attention?”
Sam slid to a halt, panting, in front of the group, and as if by command, they all sat down. Nobody knew what to say - Danny especially stared off into space in a stony silence. I was right, he thought, Jess is hiding something. The thought wasn’t comforting at all.
“We need to confront her about this,” Nova said. “If Jess has something she needs to tell us, she hasn’t told us yet, and probably won’t.”
Spider-man shook his head, jabbing a finger against the paper. “The Jess in this...this mugshot has like five scars across her cheeks. She’s a lot younger, too, and rather nasty looking. This...this isn’t...this can’t be the Jess we know.”
“Why would Jess even give us information if she doesn’t want us to know this?” White Tiger said with a sigh.
Danny bowed his head. “It is a mystery in a sea of confusion,” he said, to nobody’s surprise. “I think she trusts us. It would be wrong to stab her in the back now,” he added, reaching for the paper.
Luke snatched the paper away before Iron fist could. “I dunno, man, this is her personal information. We should trust her - when she gets back on Monday, she’ll probably explain it like she always does!” Nobody said anything else, but they all knew that nobody believed him.
