Noelle - Day 221 (Even More Art...)
...because I'm boring.
Yeah, I had NOTHING planned for today and I was just like eh whatever lets talk about art and stuff WHY NOT.
Reasons.
Ahem, anyway. I've talked a lot about my fan art and stuff and exactly 96% of it has already been posted here on International Bffs, so I'm not going to harass you with repeat pictures (although I will nag you: comment with your fan art requests!)
But art. In general. Can we just take a step back and realize that there are people who look at a blank screen, or canvas, or paper, and see so much potential that they take hours out of their day to create something beautiful and amazing, and then share it with the world? Can we give artists some credit?
(*slowly realizes that I'm writing this on a blank screen* huh...)
But seriously, artists everywhere, especially if your drawings have ever been called lame or stupid, or they've been put down because you're not finished yet or you're ignoring people to get that one detail right, if you've ever been left out because you were looking for your sketch book, or if you ever seclude yourself for hours on end to paint, YOU ARE AWESOME!!! You and I should totally chat. We'd get along well, I know. And those people who put you down or teased you? Well what do they know. They're not nearly as awesome as you.
...this post went from talking about some doodles that I did months ago to extreme, 4th-of-July-kind-of-patriotic pep talk. Whoops.
