Noelle - Day 189 (What's All this Stuff?)
Hiya, everybody?
So International Bffs is a little over a year old now, and we have a few followers. I do a lot of posting, but it's good practice for writing and I've learned a lot about blogging (like never do a 365 Day challenge without serious mental preparation)
And yes, this is going to be one of those boring information posts. Please read anyway! This is important information (sorta)

You've seen this "stuff" before. It's always at the bottom of every post. This particular one was from yesterday, and it changes a little everyday, but it's never very interesting, is it?
Well, this little boring section has two purposes: 1) so we authors can here our feedback, or 2) so that you can learn more about us!
So let's get started (we're going from top to bottom, okay?)
First section: who posted it, and when? I posted it, yesterday. That's pretty simple. You'll notice that the date is in blue, meaning its a link*. I'm not positive, but I'm 95% certain that if you click on that, you'll see all the posts on that date. Since International Bffs rarely has more than one post a day, you can pretty much ignore this.
*the color may change after the next blog update
The next sections says: what do you think? I'm considering removing this all together, since it never gets used. Basically, this is like a quick comment. You click on the boxes you think apply.
Tell you what, I'm going to put in a poll on the top of the side bar - what do you think of the "reactions" section? Should we get rid of it? This poll will be open until um sometime in January, so vote now, okay? Thank you.
Next section: In this case, it says "no comments". By click on this link OR on the blog post's title, it will redirect you so that you're viewing this post only. On slightly unrelated info, when you click on a blog post, its sorta like voting. The more views a post gets, the more "popular" it is and the more likely it's going to go on our top posts list, found in the sidebar.
Anyway, if you scroll down, you can see a big box that says comment here or something like that. Click on it. Write comment. If you post as Anonymous PLEASE write a name of some kind IN THE COMMENT BOX. Otherwise, we have NO WAY of knowing who you are. Thank you.
Alright, moving on (by the way, you can ignore the little pencil image, unless you are an author. Authors: it's a quick edit - if you notice a typo or something, click on that to quickly edit the post) See all those little grey buttons? Those are share buttons. You can share via email, blogger, twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and 1+ on Google Plus. We would love to be shared, but please be considerate of bloggers.
ALRIGHTY I've been gearing up for this section: Labels.
So these are like my favorite things ever. They help readers sort through our hundreds of posts (today was #268) and narrow it down by category. They're not hard to use and can be quite fun to sort through. At the bottom of every post, the list of labels shows what this blog post talked about and clicking on a particular label shows all posts with that label. Cool, right?
Another way to sort by label: go to the sidebar and scroll down. There's a thing that says Labels, isn't there? It shows all the labels and the number of posts with that label.
AUTHORS IMPORTANT INFO: the label "information" is SPECIFICALLY for Admin announcements, like "we will not be posting tomorrow" or "the blog has been revamped" and stuff like that. The label "Intro for..." is ONLY for new blogger's intro posts! NOT for new sections and stuff like that. Please keep these labels in line - blog posts that are not labelled correctly will be edited. Thank you for your cooperation.
And that's it! Thanks for reading this extremely long, boring post and comment if you have any questions. See you tomorrow for a "real" blog post.
