Noelle - Day 186 (Q&A)

Hi guys!
Did you have a good Christmas?  I certainly hope so!



You may notice that the blog has been revamped.  It's not much, just a background change and a color switch, but I hope you guys like it.

So I was bored the other day and I wrote a list of questions that I (me, Noelle Matherne) am really tired of being asked.

  1. Literally, whenever I mention that I'm homeschooled: soooo how do you socialize?  Do you have friends?  No, I sit at home all day, doing nothing, and totally not messaging my friends in Ohio, Florida, New Jersey, Italy, and Idaho.   Not at all.  Nope.
  2. This does't really apply to me now, because I grew my hair our, but: Why is your hair so short? I don't know, why are your shoes pink?  Because REASONS.
  3. Military life: so...where are you going next?  I don't know.  My dad doesn't know.  The military doesn't know.  Why are you asking me.
  4. Okay, you guys might not get this one, but I'll say it anyway: what is your favorite color?  Why do people get the urge to say this?  What could you possibly learn about me via this question?  I mean, its arbitrary, honestly, and I will never understand why its such important info.  Next time somebody asks me this I'm going to blurt out "grey like the color of your future coffin" or something creepy like that.
  5. Only applies to me -_-: So, is your birthday at Christmas?  Oh, your name is Patrick, is at St. Patrick's Day?  No?  Huh, that's weird...quit with the assumptions people.
  6. Homeschoolers everywhere: so um who teaches you?  ....I'm done.
So yeah, this was pretty much a post of sarcasm and annoyance.  Sorry.  I'll leave you alone now.

OK everybody, I hope you are having a great week! I, personally, have been super excited for today. Since school is starting soon, I thought I would share something I have been doing for a few years now. I like to decorate my school supplies in cute scrapbook paper. Some of my friends have asked me how to do it, so I'm going to show you how! Supplies: Spiral Notebook Scrapbook Paper Solid Color Printer Paper Graph Paper Liquid Glue Ruler Pencil Black Marker/Pen Directions: Trace your scrapbook paper to fit the notebook and cut it out. Then squeeze glue all over the front cover. Lay the paper down on top and use your ruler to push any air bubbles out. This is what it should look like now. 2. Write the title of your notebook (i.e. Math, English etc.) on the graph paper and cut it out, leaving a little room around it. 3. Jay & Noelle - WRITINGS TIPS

HEY GUYS!!! It’s Noelle and Jay, working on a post together!  (Gods help us) I’M HERE TOO, DUDES!! >:D Any who, we're doing a nice little writing tips post ...Like I said.  This is just a crazy post where two writers (also, character killers :D) will talk about writing and how to beat writer's block and...stuff like that.  Wow, I’m so articulate today. Very. But yeah, we’ll talk about the boring stuff. Then get to the cool stuff…..LIKE HOW TO KILL OF A CHARACTER AND MAKE IT COOL! Why hello there! Welcome, welcome! Remember that cute little Easter Bunny short story I wrote a while back? Well, I thought, since it was so much fun to write, i'll do another! Fun, right?
