Noelle - Day 71 (R.M.S. Part 33)
Ok, so the title is kinda obvious.
I got nothing for you today, or tomorrow. So today - part 33, tomorrow, 34 & 35. I haven't been writing as much recently, so I kinda have to "catch up" in R.M.S., which is bad. Why? Because I want to finish it before Halloween so that my costume makes sense. It would help if Lily's costume made sense too, because she's the villian....hm. How about I just post the parts now? Sounds good? Yes, yes it does.
At this, she recoiled, as if she had been stung by a wasp. She shook her head again mutely and walked away, slamming the bedroom door behind her, leaving Danny alone in a cold, windy room.

Random Marvel-based Story (Part 33)
It was in edgy silence that Danny and Jess rode home. She wasn’t going at her usual break-neck speeds, and he didn’t say a word to her. This was the Jess I thought I knew, he kept thinking, turning the thought over and over in his mind. That I thought I trusted.
Jess took the long way home, taking time to visit places that the team had had big battles at. The rooftop where the had captured the Beetle. The road where they had tried (and failed) to contain the Hulk. Apparently, a lot of places had meaning to Jess, and though it took them over an hour to get home, but Danny never complained and Jess never said a word.
Finally, they slowly pulled into Jess’s parking spot by her apartment, and Danny couldn’t stand the silence another second. “Jess,” he said quietly, but she slowly shook her head, and he understood. Now was not the time.
They walked up the stairs, and neither of them had enough energy to smile or wave at the neighbors. Mr. Frederick, the kindly manager of the building nodded as Jess passed by, but she barely even looked up.
The apartment was deathly cold, and the window banged open every time a gust of wind came whistling in. Jess slammed it shut and sat with a thump down on the couch. The two teens just sat there, staring at eachother in total, painful silence.
“Why won’t you tell me,” Danny asked, the horrible quiet finally shattered.
Jess didn’t answer, but only stared at him, like a dog with a muzzle. It occurred to Danny that it might not be Jess’s choice, or even if it was, she was forced into this silence. She was trying to protect them, and it wasn’t helping to push her. The idea was so foreign, it refused to fit properly in Danny’s well-organized mind. “Please Jess,” he added.
At this, she recoiled, as if she had been stung by a wasp. She shook her head again mutely and walked away, slamming the bedroom door behind her, leaving Danny alone in a cold, windy room.
I know, it was a short part, and tomorrow it's going to be all long and nasty, but certain parts have to be posted together for the story to flow right. Anyway, here you go, and see you tomorrow!
P.S.
