Just a Little Chat - Kathleen
Hi guys! How are you? I'm good.
So I didn't plan anything for today, which is kind of nice, because now we can just sit down and have a chat! I haven't done that since August!
So I've been going to Christmas concerts and recitals lately. At our Masterworks concert, there were 800 people. I didn't think that many people could fit inside the church we were at, but apparently it was standing room only. We got a standing ovation. Christine Brewer sang with us, and I was over the moon. I was literally in tears.
One of the families in our homeschooling group is moving soon, I think the movers are coming the 27th, which is a bit of a bummer because they have some little ones who won't get to enjoy the Christmas presents. So I went to their going away party yesterday and I'm also going to "hang out with/chaperone" their daughter, my sister, and their friends at the mall on Friday because they are doing a scavenger hunt. I've always wanted to do one of those at a mall.
Over on Two Dorks with a Blog, Emma and I are doing a Blogmas. It is a lot of work, and we aren't even going super crazy with it. I have to admit, I have caught myself cramming for a post for the next day. We are almost half-way done with that, and as much fun as it is, I kind of can't wait for January. In fact, the last post of the month (on the 31st) is going to be a joint Q and A, so please ask us questions! I think we will answer like, ten questions, so I will pick 5 and Emma will pick 5. So the most interesting question you can come up with, comment that down below and I will try and get to it in the post!
I also did some Christmas decorating today! I set up the little lamps in the windows, the garland on the fireplace, the Dept. 56 houses, and a basket with lights and pinecones in it.

I just got done watching Miracle on 34th street, and as I was cleaning up, I looked outside, and it's snowing!!!!! It's very icy, but as long as it's white on the ground, I'm cool! And it's going to be very cold tonight, so I hope it will stay around until tomorrow!
That's all for today! I'm going to try and do these kinds of posts more often. I think it helps me relax a little bit. Merry Christmas to you! Tell me down below what you want me to do next week because I have no ideas! I could do a Christmas Day Picture Post. It would basically tell the whole story of Christmas morning/day without any words... I'm gonna do that!
Merry Christmas!
