Rage Poetry (Because I'm Tiiiiired)
Hey guys!
It's Noelle, who is currently reeeeally tired. However, I wanted to get this post out tonight because TOMORROW (yup, I'm posting again in like, less than 12 hours) I'm going to be posting something reeeeally special. It's a surprise, so you'll have to wait (all of 12 hours) and see!
However, right now, I'm just talking poetry. Specifically...rage poetry Read all the way to the end, because I have some news to tell you guys about as well! :)
A Rage Poem
By a girl who undoubtedly will learn better one day
I can’t sleep
I’m spend days in this dream like state
Where the line between
Reality and stupid sentimentality
Are blurred
I want to scream but I know I won’t be heard
They say I am lazy
They are wrong I am angry
With the system we have made
This hamster wheel of faith
Work hard go to school
For what?
So we can become replaceable?
Interchangeable?
Millions of homonyms that mean the same word:
That our education has prepared us for a messed up world
They say I’m lazy
I am angry
But anger won't make a difference
Neither will I
Nor will this sentence
Have to be older and richer to change the system
But to be older and richer you don’t fight ‘em you join ‘em
I believed in a world based on love
But instead I got a treasure trove
Of reasons to hate
To cry
To weep
Over the wars we fight with people we'll never meet
I meant what I said:
I can’t sleep, the nightmares keep me up
And between the clowns and the ghosts and the terrorists
There are the opportunities for change
That I will always miss

That's literally it, I had some other poems written down but they went mysteriously missing (no sarcasm, I literally have no clue where they are). However, I did promise you some news, and here is its: I'm doing sketch portraits! I've found I really enjoy drawing people and have been doing them for some friends and family of mine:
