Faith and Freedom Festival and the Funniest Guy EVER - Kathleen

This is really late... sorry... :/

Hi beautiful lovely readers! Noelle convinced me to leave the fall theme for a while... so I am. Lucky for all of us (I would have had an awful post if not for this) I met lots of famous people over the weekend!

Basically, there is this Festival called Faith and Freedom Festival near us, and my friend got VIP Tickets. Four of them. Guess who she asked to go with her. Noelle and I. I practically screamed when she asked us.

There were several bands and a comedian, a rapper, and an acrobatic group there. The bands were We Are Vessel, Scarlet White, Set for the Fall, Finding Favour, and Seventh Day Slumber. Tim Hawkins was there, and if you don't know who he is, then you probably live under a rock. Tim Hawkins is a clean, Christian comedian and he is HILARIOUS! Q-Fyre was the amazing rapper and Kinetic Tapestry did some acrobatics.

(Noelle: yes.  I'm here too.)

With our VIP tickets, we got a picture with everyone, third row seats, and we could meet anyone. I'm going to go through pictures and tell you guys about the night as we go because that will probably be a bit easier and more organized!! :D



So the first picture is of the whole group. Kinetic Tapestries was kind of an between groups act, so didn't meet them. The lighting was super great all night for selfies, so I took a few and narrowed it down to one.


Waiting for the meet and greet was so exciting and nerve racking!!!!

(Noelle:  it was actually kind of frustrating for me how it wasn't organized well.  There was no clarification on when the VIPs were supposed to eat and it took them forever to set up the meet and greet.  On the other hand, it was AWESOME that we actually got to meet-n-talk to the people)



But we finally met Tim Hawkins and he was awesome! I thought he would be, like, a normal person, and not super funny, but he was! When we walked up and said hi, he was like, "OMG I watch all of your videos!  You are hilarious!  OMG!!" So yeah, he was great! We also hung out with one of the drummers from one of the bands throughout the whole night until he had to go. His name was Michael and he was super sweet and awesome!




The weather was amazing. It was crisp, but not to chilly as the night went on. There was a slight breeze that gave you superwoman hair and also tangly knots so that was great. Q-Fyre was an awesome rapper. Sometimes I forget that rapping can be really cool. My favorite music normally doesn't have rapping in it, but I've started liking it more lately. Especially when I'm feeling sassy. :D

(Noelle:  Also, Q-Fyre was giving out  free CDs!  Being a broke teenage girl, free is the best kind of CD and he was still around by the time I snagged one, so I got him to sign it for me.  It ended up signed 'Neole' but I don't care, it looks cool)

Zach Williams was awesome. He was more along my lines of Christian music, but it was a rock concert, so I pretty much knew what to expect.

(Noelle:  I did not.  I don't think my ears have recovered yet)



Tim Hawkins!!! He was super funny and amazing. I love Tim so much, he is one of the few funny comedians I wouldn't mind my mom walking in on me watching him on YouTube. He is completely clean and never fails to make me laugh.

(Noelle:  Confession, I hadn't really seen most of his stuff before now.  I'd seen a couple of youtube clips from Madison and her brothers [hi Freckles!], including Yoga Pants, Christian Cuss Words, Atheist Kid's Songs, and more.  However, THAT DID NOT DETER ME.  This concert was awesome and I'm so glad that I got to come)


(Sorry for those horrible street lights but the moon was amazing) It got to be 10:15 pm and we were all exhausted. We left and got home at like 11:30 pm and I crashed around 12:30 am. Overall it was an awesome day! I had so much fun. Thank you so much Clarissa for sharing your birthday present with us! We had a blast!

OK everybody, I hope you are having a great week! I, personally, have been super excited for today. Since school is starting soon, I thought I would share something I have been doing for a few years now. I like to decorate my school supplies in cute scrapbook paper. Some of my friends have asked me how to do it, so I'm going to show you how! Supplies: Spiral Notebook Scrapbook Paper Solid Color Printer Paper Graph Paper Liquid Glue Ruler Pencil Black Marker/Pen Directions: Trace your scrapbook paper to fit the notebook and cut it out. Then squeeze glue all over the front cover. Lay the paper down on top and use your ruler to push any air bubbles out. This is what it should look like now. 2. Write the title of your notebook (i.e. Math, English etc.) on the graph paper and cut it out, leaving a little room around it. 3. Jay & Noelle - WRITINGS TIPS

HEY GUYS!!! It’s Noelle and Jay, working on a post together!  (Gods help us) I’M HERE TOO, DUDES!! >:D Any who, we're doing a nice little writing tips post ...Like I said.  This is just a crazy post where two writers (also, character killers :D) will talk about writing and how to beat writer's block and...stuff like that.  Wow, I’m so articulate today.
