Wonder Woman Movie Review
Hi guys! It's Elena again. A lot of you have probably heard of the new D.C superhero movie, starring Wonder Woman. I saw this on Saturday with my family and I had to write a review. This is my first time writing one. On to the post!!!
Princess Diana was sculpted ,by her mother, out of clay then Zeus breathed life into her. This movie, unlike Marvel, centers more on Greek Mythology, with the Antagonist being Aries. The story takes place during world war one. Princess Diana knows nothing of the world out side of the Amazon Islands until a one-man plane crashes right off the cost. When the Amazons learn about the great war, they know instantly that It's Aries who is at fault. Diana makes a bargain with Steve (the spy, and pilot) that if she takes him back to London, he will take her to Aries, where she can kill him (Aries, not Steve) with the godkiller, a sword given to the Amazons by Zeus, that has the power to kill a god.
This movie is rated PG-13 for violence and slight nudity.
I think that it would be ok for 12 year olds to see too, but not much younger than that. There are some intense parts. The nudity part is just Steve, but it's still a little awkward. It doesn't show anything.
I personally really like this movie. Wonder Woman has this sense of empathy that Superman and Batman lack. Also, she is really strong and powerful. The fight scenes and the graphics are amazing, and Wonder Woman herself is too. I absolutely love this movie. It's a must see.
