IBFS New Writer! -Emma

Hello everyone! I am a new writer on International BFFs! I'm so excited to be here, you don't even know!

So you're probably wondering who I am...

My name is Emma and I am 15 years old (but turning 16 next week!). I've known Noelle for about 6 months now, and finally decided to take part in the craziness that is blogging. I know a few of the other writers here in person, Kathleen, Carly, and Clarissa. 

You may know me from my other blog that I run with Kathleen, Two Dorks With a Blog. I also have another blog, Life According to Emma. I had wanted to start blogging for a long time, but once I met Noelle, she definitely inspired me to start. 

Some more things about me...

-I'm am homeschooled! I go to an online high school called James Madison High School. I love it so much, and wouldn't have it any other way.

-I attended "traditional school" until 9th grade.

-I'm an only child, so life at home can get a bit boring sometimes.

Some things I like to do for fun..

  • Obviously the first thing is blogging! I've always loved writing, and blogging has made me such a better writer. Blogging has even helped me get better grades on essays and papers for school, so that's a plus. 
  • I am starting to take tennis lessons this next month, so I'm really excited about that. 
  • I have an Instagram account (@emmalacroix), where I post mainly photography. I just really love taking pictures and sharing them all with the world.

absolutely stunning, like words cannot describe how amazing
it was.
  • Netflix is another one of my favorite things, LOL. I'm currently obsessing over the show Reign, but I am also watching The Office, New Girl, a Series of Unfortunate Events, and just started watching Sherlock (thanks to Kathleen, Clarissa, and Noelle for getting me addicted).
  • I also love to read. I'm currently reading the Harry Potter series, but I also loved the Percy Jackson books and anything by John Green. 
  • This one might sound a bit out there, but I'm starting to brand myself as a model! Crazy right?! I have a couple sponsorships right now with some small brands, but my goal is to eventually model for bigger companies on my Instagram account!
Well, that's enough talk about me. I can't wait to meet all of the other writers here, and be able to write posts for you all!

    Welcome Emma! I am not on here to much any more but I am trying to get started up again. I am just starting to read John Green and so far I love it! Hope you have fun with us weirdos on here. :)

    Omg hey! It's so great that you're a blogger here now too! This post was really good btw. It makes me literally so so so happy that your chasing your dreams and doing what you want to do in life. I'm super jealous you're already getting a good jump on what you want to do for a possible career, and you're doing a fantastic job of it!

OK everybody, I hope you are having a great week! I, personally, have been super excited for today. Since school is starting soon, I thought I would share something I have been doing for a few years now. I like to decorate my school supplies in cute scrapbook paper. Some of my friends have asked me how to do it, so I'm going to show you how! Supplies: Spiral Notebook Scrapbook Paper Solid Color Printer Paper Graph Paper Liquid Glue Ruler Pencil Black Marker/Pen Directions: Trace your scrapbook paper to fit the notebook and cut it out. Then squeeze glue all over the front cover. Lay the paper down on top and use your ruler to push any air bubbles out. This is what it should look like now. 2. Write the title of your notebook (i.e. Math, English etc.) on the graph paper and cut it out, leaving a little room around it. 3. Jay & Noelle - WRITINGS TIPS

HEY GUYS!!! It’s Noelle and Jay, working on a post together!  (Gods help us) I’M HERE TOO, DUDES!! >:D Any who, we're doing a nice little writing tips post ...Like I said.  This is just a crazy post where two writers (also, character killers :D) will talk about writing and how to beat writer's block and...stuff like that.  Wow, I’m so articulate today. Very. But yeah, we’ll talk about the boring stuff. Then get to the cool stuff…..LIKE HOW TO KILL OF A CHARACTER AND MAKE IT COOL!
