Fall Expectation vs. Reality - Kathleen

OK, here we are, super late... normally I would have had this scheduled like, Friday night... Great job Kathleen. Anyways! Fall is here! Almost officially! Officially on Thursday! Yay!!!!!!! So now that we have all gotten excited, I just wanted to announce something:

Fall is NEVER what we excepted it to be!

This fact drives me nuts. So I thought I would bring some humor to it. Welcome to Fall Expectation vs. Reality. :D

  • Crunchy Leaves.  Always look forward to it...
But then it rains. And this happens.

         Great.
  • And you always want those cool slightly chilly days, like this...
        but you get this...
  • The perfect pumpkin always seems like the easiest thing to get...
But really, this is probably more likely.
  • And all those Pinterest recipes you were going to try? Yeah, you might wanna rethink whatever you were going to bring to that party...
  • Doesn't everyone expect the first day of Fall (September 22nd) to be a beautiful day?
I don't think it's gonna happen... it's always super hot.
  • And the fall Front Door Décor that looks adorable...
Ends up looking more like this (a.k.a. pretty much nothing)
  • Apple picking is a favorite of mine. You get lots of beautiful apples.
But you never eat all of them.

  • Fall clothes are also VERY much looked forward to. Layering is adorable.
But also usually ends up looking like this.

Thanks for reading everyone! You are all so nice! Brave through the first fall days until it calms down! You can do it! What is one thing you always look forward to? I always start wearing my boots WAY to early!

OK everybody, I hope you are having a great week! I, personally, have been super excited for today. Since school is starting soon, I thought I would share something I have been doing for a few years now. I like to decorate my school supplies in cute scrapbook paper. Some of my friends have asked me how to do it, so I'm going to show you how! Supplies: Spiral Notebook Scrapbook Paper Solid Color Printer Paper Graph Paper Liquid Glue Ruler Pencil Black Marker/Pen Directions: Trace your scrapbook paper to fit the notebook and cut it out. Then squeeze glue all over the front cover. Lay the paper down on top and use your ruler to push any air bubbles out. This is what it should look like now. 2. Write the title of your notebook (i.e. Math, English etc.) on the graph paper and cut it out, leaving a little room around it. 3. HEY GUYS!!! It’s Noelle and Jay, working on a post together!  (Gods help us) I’M HERE TOO, DUDES!! >:D Any who, we're doing a nice little writing tips post ...Like I said.  This is just a crazy post where two writers (also, character killers :D) will talk about writing and how to beat writer's block and...stuff like that.  Wow, I’m so articulate today.
