My Military Brat Experience

I was born in New Jersey, and lived on McGuire AFB for 10 years.

I know what your thinking... 10 years??? I've never heard of someone in the military living somewhere for more then about 3?!?!" But the reason is that my dad is a Boom Operator, thats someone who refuels other planes in the air.

Anyway, my dad has to stay with the KC-10, which means he can only go to New Jersey or California... I don't know why, but thats the way the Military works. 

Then when I was 11 we moved to Illinois. 

I've been homeschooled my whole life along with my two brothers and when we moved to IL we discovered a little thing called a Homeschool CO-OP.

If you don't already know what a Homeschool CO-OP is, it's pretty much just like a school with three different classes, but the classes are fun. I have done classes like art, drama, geography, and stuff.

After 5 years, we moved back to New Jersey, where we are now,

and started our own Homeschool CO-OP.

It started as about 10-15 families the first year... The next year we had about 50 families!

Now that what you call an "unsocialized homeschool gathering"
